I met Steve and Lynne in my single digit years. I have fond memories of our relationship through the years, even my own children see them as family. I always considered the Hill’s as my second Mom and Dad and knew they would be there if needed, in 2018 they were when my mother passed suddenly. My heart is saddened with Steve’s passing. Again I feel as if I’ve lost a feeling of security. Steve was a hero to my generation as a teacher with his kind and generous selflessness. I loved to view the beautiful picture that he loved to share and those orchids some didn’t even look real. I will miss he’s voice, smile and dry sense of humor. Rest In Peace please give my mom a hug for me.
Loves, Saddened

Reading Mr.Hill's obituary took me back in time to my own days as a student connected with the Hill family. THANK YOU FOR BEING THE EDUCATORS AND HUMANS YOU CHOSE TO BE--sharing your passions, inspiring others, and being apart of the GOOD WORK in education. The impact of your family lives on in all of us.
Sending all my love and continuous prayers that peace surrounds your family at this difficult time.
Love, Tiffany Taylor-Jones and Family

My heartfelt condolences to Steve's family. It was a privilege to know and work with Steve at RHS. Not many people may know just how generous Steve was because he did everything quietly. One year at school, during Homecoming Week, about ten of us dressed up as Steve for Twin Day (white dress shirts, powder in our hair, name tags - 'Hello, my name is Steve Hill' and Tasmanian Devil ties) and surprised him. I hope he knew what a compliment that was to him. He is missed. Rest in Peace Steve.

I loved his photography. I got a print of a Montana Wolf for my brother and offered to pay. He would take no money . He had an awesome talent. His students were so fortunate. Sue smith
