Meeting Marjorie changed my life in the best way possible forever. When we moved to Titusville from Tulsa Ok. my dad Dr JR Bissland hires her to work with us at his chiropractic office. My top three favorite memories. Hmmm
I came back in from lunch one day to find her standing on top of her desk “Help me sweetie, help me.... there’s a big ole snake looking lizard with its tail and body separated both wiggling on the floor. She tried she said to sweep it out but it changed her she jumped up on the desk and she hit it with the broom and broke it in half. I was laughing so hard as I tried to scoop it up in the dust pan it run up the pan and up my arm at which time I screamed threw the dustpan with it’s tail and arms shaking as I joined her on the desk both of us laughing and screaming as my dad came in from lunch. We all three laughed about that for weeks.
The memory that changed my life forever was when her daughter Joy stopped by before going to a Rainbow Girls get together and Momma asked Joy to take me as I was new in town and didn’t know anyone, little did we know I would meet my first love and the father of my daughter, my blue eyed blonde little baby girl I had always dreamed of having. She has now given me two beautiful granddaughters. So Thank You for the millionth time Momma and Joy...
My last memory was after moving to PSJ I started shopping at the new Publix and to my surprise she was my cashier. She stopped ringing up my groceries as soon as she looked up and saw me and ran around the counter to give me my big hug and kisses . This happened everytime I shopped. I’d always look for her when I came in and make sure I got in her line no matter how long it was.
Momma Margie I will Always love and remember you with all my heart until we meet again behind those gates of Heaven. Joy I love you and will always think of you as the real sister I never had. You changed my life in the best of ways, all part of God bigger picture. You had the BEST momma ever and I know from the loss of my daddy that no words can fill the void in your heart. I’m always here if you ever need anything. RIH sweet Momma. RIP till we meet again.
