Obituary of Mary Frances Baumgartner

Mary Frances Due Baumgartner, 85, died unexpectedly November 21, 2020. She was born in Miami, Florida on November 7, 1935 to Hans F. Due and Aimee Simons. She attended St. Peter and Paul High School in Miami where she cheered for the football and basketball games. She attended the University of Florida where she joined the Kappa Delta sorority. She proudly sang the KD songs throughout her life. She loved her Gator football. Mary married James Baumgartner and raised three children; Julie (Clay) Arrington, James Baumgartner, and Laura (Jim) Matthews. Four grandchildren; Jen (Chad) Dickenson, Zach (Kelly) Pace, Michael (Alissa) Matthews, Michelle (Bill) Woznicki; two great-grandchildren; Caleb and Lily Matthews. Brother Hans (Marcia) Due, Sister Karen Ryan-Young, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Hans and Aimee Due and brother John Due. Mary was always full of life, friendly and gregarious. She loved music, dancing and swimming. She will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be planned in the future.
