Obituary of Richard H. Dummer

Richard (Rick) Henry Dummer of Rochester, New York passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at the age of 85. After many months of declining health, he died peacefully with his three children by his side. Richard was born in Rochester on June 13, 1936, to father Nelson Dummer and mother Gladys Jenkins. He was an only child and enlisted in the Army at age 23. He made his way to Florida in 1960 where he excelled in a career in banking and sales. He shared with others a passion for the Lord, jazz music, racing, and motorcycles. A loving and proud Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, he is survived by his children Susan Beske, Steve Duemer, and Geoff Duemer; grandchildren Tyler Mays, Buddy Orol, Matthew Beske, Justin Beske, Dustin Duemer, Renee Duemer, and Lucas Duemer; and great-grandsons Wyatt Mays and Palmer Orol. A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, February 26th at 11:00 AM inside the Chapel Village of Faith 8653 CR 127 Wildwood Fl 34785 All are invited to attend.
