Obituary of Agnes Brush

Agnes L. Brush, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2010. Agnes was born November 6, 1918 in Allen County, Indiana and peacefully passed away at the Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center in Rockledge, Florida. Agnes was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hicksville, Ohio and of Eastern Stars in Bryan, Ohio. She was an avid gardener, loved fishing and playing cards and bingo. Agnes is survived by two sons, Ray and his wife Sandra of Cocoa, FL and Ken and his wife Sue of Seattle, WA as well as a daughter, Margaret (Susie) Adkins and her husband Wayne of Hillsville, VA. Also surviving Agnes are four grandchildren, Kimberly Clisby, LeAnn Adkins, Randi Ondo, and Kevin Brush as well as three great grandchildren, Hannah and Sarah Clisby and Riley Ondo. She was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Effie (Hall) Sowers; her husband of 37 years, Glen; her brother, Richard Sowers; and a granddaughter, Jessica Brush. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Smith-Brown funeral home in Hicksville, Ohio. Agnes will be laid to rest beside her late husband at the Scipio Cemetery in Harlan, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arthritis Foundationor to a charity of choice. Local arrangements by Family owned and operated Atlantic Mortuary, Rockledge.
