Obituary of Patricia Ann Corapi

Patricia Ann May Corapi, 62, of Indialantic, Florida passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Melbourne Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband Richard Corapi, her 2 pet turtles and several cats. Patty and Richard were married 25 years and together for over 27 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Catherine and George May She was a native of Rosemont, New Jersey. She attended the Prestigious Blair Academy in New Jersey and Photography at Eastern Florida State College. Patty She was an excellent Outdoor photographer known for her images of Florida landscapes and wildlife. Her photographs have won many awards and have appeared in books, magazines and calendars. She was an artisan lapidary who made jewelry from crystals and gemstones. She was a long-time member of The Camera Club of Brevard, Indian River Camera Club, Orlando Camera Club, Central Brevard Art Association, The Studios of Cocoa Beach, and past member of the Art Gallery of Viera. Patty volunteered for many outdoor organizations and refuges including the Viera Wetlands, Titusville Birding Festival, Sampsons Island and Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge. In her spare time, Patty worked for several pharmaceutical companies as an auditor and was also an established tax preparer. She met her husband Richard during the time they were employed by the State of Florida. Patty was a good friend and was always putting others before herself. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her many friends and colleagues. Condolences can be sent to Richard Corapi, c/o Camera Club of Brevard, PO Box 542, Melbourne FL 32902.
