Obituary of Kenneth "Ken" George Bowers

Kenneth "Ken" Bowers, 67, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on December 15, 2021. Ken was born and raised in High Point, NC and attended Ragsdale High School where he graduated with the class of 1971. He was a fun loving man with a sense of adventure and a quiet soul, full of generosity. He had nothing but unconditional love for his family. Not only did he instill a valuable work ethic in his daughters, but also his desire for adventure and travel, with his work hard play harder mentality. He was a devoted family man with a love for adventure and travel. This gave him the opportunity to travel to many places throughout the US and tropical countries. When he was not traveling he enjoyed outdoor activities, such as fishing, camping, walking and theme parks. Anyone that met him loved him and he was everyone’s best friend. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Grayson and Lenora Bowers, his two brothers , Carol Ray Bowers and Gilbert Michael Bowers. Also, his four legged best friend, Precious. Ken is survived by his wife Mary Jane; two daughters Kathy Crawford and husband Travis, Kristie Bowers and partner William Bennett; his sisters Patty Shipwash and husband Jesse and Susan Clodfelter and husband Phil; five grandchildren Christopher (fiancé Grace), Caleb, Justin, Mary Maddyson and Perry Kenna; six nieces, his four legged daughter Tilly and best wingman, Max Routh!
